Here's my first post. I'm not quite sure what to add but I'm hoping that by cataloging all of my purchases, letting others know about what's out there, and using the information retrieved from Money Saving Mom, I'll be able to survive paradise at a less bank account friendly pace.

- I'm a full time student and SAHM to an amazing two year old. He keeps me busy, stressed-out and tired but I wouldn't trade it for the world! (Cliche, I know!) I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii but now I'm on O`ahu. We're a small family trying to survive on one income in one of the highest cost of living areas in the U.S.

Lei~ How perfect is your timing! I'm Theresa (fellow HM) and we live on da Mainland, hoping to finally relocate by May/June time. DH and I were just discussing if we're really going to be able to pull off living there. We wrote and re-wrote everything. Crossed out, added, deleted other things on our list of expenses. And wow...you are like my answerprayer!!! Your Frugal Hawaii blog is going to help tremendously. No pressure of course! =) I'm about to go onto the other link Money Saving Mom. I am so determined to help DH plan this all out. I'm a SAHM but trying to figure things other options esp falling back on prev jobs/career pre-kiddos. My sis and her fam are already there, so that's another motivation. My mom is retired, dad by June. So, where there's a will, there is a Lei(way)!!! Okay, I know that was a little corny and silly! Looking forward to checking your blog more! Mahalo!!!
